FiredUp4 fundraising has so far provided ceramic equipment to run clay clubs in nine Youth Zones, with Chorley and Wigan funded by the first auction and the next auction benefitting the Youth Zones of Warrington, Barnet, and Barking and Dagenham in London. These locations are running Clay clubs twice a week and we are getting some fantastic feedback about the specific ways that clay is impacting the young.
Our 2023 auction raised funds for Clay Clubs to be run in Croydon, Blackburn with Darwin and Manchester. London Craft Week’s fundraiser in 2024 raised funds for WEST in White City London.
We don’t want to stop there. More OnSide Youth Zones are spread across the UK with more being planned all the time.

OnSide Youth Zones
OnSide Youth Zones are purpose-built spaces fizzing with energy and crammed with incredible facilities. These youth centres, otherwise known as Youth Zones, provide local young people aged between 8 and 19, or up to 25 with a disability, affordable access to high-quality sports, arts, and leisure facilities and activities, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year. They are staffed by skilled and dedicated youth workers who truly believe in young people, helping them see what they can achieve and equipping them with the skills, confidence, and ambition to go for it.OnSide has already supported over 50,000 young people who are members across the network of 14 Youth Zones in the UK. There are plans to expand the Network further over the coming years, with eight new Youth Zones currently at different stages of development.

The charity raises funds to build state-of-the-art, multimillion-pound Youth Zones in the country’s most economically disadvantaged areas.
